About the Role
The application deadline has passed, but we are currently accepting late resource room specialist applications for Houston, New York City and Philadelphia. All late applicants will be notified 10-14 days after their application has been received.
Resource room specialists play an integral role in preparing incoming corps members to achieve excellence in the classroom and thereby further the curriculum goals of the institute. The position is part-time through June, July and August and involves management of the resource room, which houses materials for corps members to use in planning and facilitating classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities
Organize, set up, manage, and take down the resource room
Guide corps members to specific resources that will enhance their lesson planning
Highlight useful resources through displays, posters, and demonstrations
Conduct mini-workshops that highlight effective instructional techniques and draw upon resource room materials as well as the specialist’s experience
Maintain systems to track resources and supplies and restock as necessary
Collaborate with curriculum specialists to meet corps member needs

Enhance your existing knowledge of available classroom resources
Develop strong organizational systems
Qualified Applicants
Have previous teaching experience, with knowledge in a particular content area, and the ability to translate that curricular knowledge to support all grade levels and content areas
Possess exceptional organizational skills
Provide high-quality customer service
Operate with a strong sense of personal responsibility
